My name is Martina Haak and I am the founder of naturmädchen. I've always felt most comfortable in nature. One reason why I founded this label from my contemplative home on the Lower Rhine and not in a metropolis. For me, being in the countryside is the best thing. After all, in our digital world, you can be successful from anywhere — isn't that great? In 2017, I took the step that I had dreamed of for a long time: I gave up my permanent position as a project manager at a management consultancy after more than seven years and laid the foundation for my own natural cosmetics label. I relied on my experience working with different cosmetic manufacturers right from the start, but my knowledge of unfilled niches also reinforced me in my start-up plans. One morning I spoke out loud at the breakfast table the thought that had matured in me for a long time: I want to do this alone. And that's according to my ideas! And then it started.Read their story
