As an event planning company originally, we were called upon to help produce special gifts, invites, and other artistic elements to an event. Artist Mike Zippel, who is the vice president of the company is a native of Germany and moved to the Berkshires in Western Mass in 2004 with his husband Oskar. Ever creative and a self-proclaimed doodler, he began professionally drawing his beloved buildings in 2022, starting with Berkshire Buildings and moving on to others worldwide. Using the notes app on his iPad, he first draws black and white versions, and then spends his time coloring them in, which honestly, is his favorite part! Already offering magnets, and notecards and other items, it was a natural progression to introduce coloring books so others can have just as much fun coloring the images as he does. Mikes is always on the lookout for more beloved buildings and can always draw custom images and make many products with it. Read their story
