About Stuck on Maine

Hi there! I’m Carlie — a Graphic Designer, creative thinker, and maker behind Stuck on Michigan and now... Stuck on Maine! Stuck on Michigan started back in 2015 when I printed a simple Michigan sticker for myself and got such great feedback that I decided to open an Etsy shop. What began as a small creative experiment quickly turned into a way to share my love for local places and the outdoors through illustration and design. Over time, my connection to Maine grew just as strong. Its rocky coastlines, quiet lakes, and welcoming small towns have always reminded me of Michigan in the best ways. I even got engaged there, which made it feel like home in a whole new sense. That’s what inspired me to start Stuck on Maine — a continuation of the same love for nature, community, and the places that stick with you.
