Crafted is a handmade jewelry brand based in Northern California, specializing in lightweight pieces made from wood and acrylic. Crafted began in Illinois in 2006 when founder Kat Ammann had just graduated from high school, as a way to earn income from her variety of handmade goods. In 2011 Kat was introduced to laser cutting and began to explore how the technology could be applied to jewelry making. She has been building and refining her process ever since and now operates Crafted full time from a home studio.
