CRAGA is a Finnish fashion brand that represents creativity, individuality and craftsmanship. CRAGA works on a basis of creativity and responsibility, fused with traditional craftsmanship. CRAGA aims to produce art that tells a story, inspiring and eye-catching fashion express oneself. A standout style, creativity, and tailoring are at the heart of the brand’s philosophy. Handmade in Helsinki, CRAGA aims to deliver what every creatives wardrobe needs – from well-produced modern everyday staples, through to handmade highly-limited edition and trend-led high fashion pieces. CRAGA was founded by a fashion designer & tailor Niko Mieho, who got the spark for tailoring and fashion from his grandfather Unto Jokinen, who was a respected tailor and patternmaker in his time. In Mieho’s family, there have been over three generations of tailors, so you could say that craftsmanship and creativity are in Niko’s blood. And it was that desire to follow his grandfather’s footsteps that drove him to start his career in fashion and to continue his family’s legacy. While studying for his first degree in fashion – Niko kept developing his skills and started making his own clothing collections in his parents basement in Helsinki, where he eventually started his brand CRAGA. In 2015, soon after he got his tailor degree, Mieho released his well-received first CRAGA collection in Helsinki.
