After traveling around the world and falling in love with Bali, I took the initiative to dive in by creating a small swimwear brand made in Bali from recycled, committed, and responsible fabrics. I was in my first year of my Master's when I created my first collection. This swimwear brand is, for me, an experience, a job, an investment, but above all, an extension of my journey. It is important for me that things have meaning, and my first collection was inspired by all my travels. A brand under the name Palma Swimwear, the little name of my pug who brought me so much comfort upon my return to France that I dedicate this project to him. Each year, more than 13 million tons of plastics end up in our oceans, including 100,000 marine mammals that die from ingesting plastic. Palma Swimwear has decided to commit to the fight against plastic to preserve our environment and give waste a second life. These are swimsuits made from recycled fishing nets and plastic bottles.Read their story
