About Knit & Wick- where cozy meets bookish. Before Knit & Wick became a business, it was a spark of curiosity that quickly ignited into a passion project. In 2019, as a recent post-grad on a tight budget, I couldn’t afford the luxury candles I wanted. Candles transformed life's quiet moments, adding warmth and comfort, especially during the darkest days of the year. When the idea struck to make my own candles, I dove headfirst into research, determined to create a candle that embodied everything I loved: long-lasting, clean-burning, and perfect for enhancing the cozy atmosphere when I was reading or knitting. In December 2019, I crafted my first candle and was instantly captivated by the blend of science and creativity involved. From that moment on, I couldn’t stop. I quickly filled my home with candles, eventually gifting them to friends and family when I ran out of space. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive— everyone loved them as much as I did and urged me to share my candles with the world. Today, my candles are still made with the same love and dedication, offering readers the perfect ambiance for their favorite moments— whether that’s diving into a novel, knitting by the fire, or simply unwinding at home.
