The quality requirements are so high that on average only one seventh of an organic crop is selected and processed further. The water comes from a spring that lies in the middle of a nature reserve in the lower Mühlviertel. It originates from a soil formation of primary rock and is particularly rich in minerals and low in lime. The mineral content has enormous effects on mouthfeel and taste. Vural vodka is distilled by hand in small batches in a six-month manufacturing process. After bottling, the vodka rests in the bottle for a year, maintaining its maturity and balance.
