INSPIRED BY JAPAN | MADE IN AMSTERDAM This is ANO Studio, run by me - Hannah. I illustrate small moments in Japan, street scenes, buildings, little shop corners. The stuff I find beautiful. ANO Studio is a one woman print studio specialising in illustrations inspired by Japan. All prints are designed in Amsterdam and sustainably made in The Netherlands. I love a good piece of chunky architecture and my work always has a bit of a tranquil (or maybe even desolate) quality to it. Which is one of the tings that I love so much about Japan, this juxtaposition between the busyness and the calm. And the way I, as an outsider, can partake in that but never fully engage with.
