It’s our goal to give back to the environment and our community, making the world a better place. Cork is always harvested, never cut down. Made from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork is one of the most sustainable materials available. The bark is collected by hand every 9-12 years, leaving the original tree healthy and intact. Between these harvests, the bark entirely grows back. Cork oak trees can live for up to 300 years, regenerating bark several times over their lifespans.
