The Black Candle Company was born from a passion for creativity, community, and the belief that luxury should be accessible to everyone. Founded by Jessica Bobbitt Doaks, a Nashville entrepreneur with a background in design and wellness, our mission is to craft products that transform spaces and experiences through scent. We specialize in clean-burning, vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly home fragrance and body care. Every product is made with our signature coconut-apricot wax blend—what we call “liquid gold”—for a slow, clean, and consistent burn. Our collection features 10 signature scents and 14 product offerings, ranging from candles and diffusers to mists and body oils, all designed without labels to seamlessly blend into any environment. More than products, we create experiences. Our immersive candle-making workshops and events have made The Black Candle Company Nashville’s first Black woman-owned candle-making lounge. We believe fragrance has the power to connect people, spark creativity, and leave lasting memories.
