About Poppy Simplicity

Welcome! From the time I remember I have always loved to express myself through art. I do not have the talent to easily converse with those I have never met before (Only Jane Austen fans will understand lol) however when I create art it feels like I am showing myself to anyone who wants to see me. Art is a gateway to connect strangers from the past to the future and especially the present. I grew up in a beautiful city crawling with talented artist. I am thankful to be self taught. I take inspiration from many different places. My goal with my art is to make people feel a connection to a cherished memory or a future hope. To be caught in the moment and be brought back down to Earth. There is so much going on in this world, many of us just need a moment to recenter. I want my art to bring that comfort and at the same time wonder. My friends ask me how I came up with the name Poppy Simplicity, and I never really have a great answer haha. I just love flowers and the simple things in life. So Poppy Simplicity just fit. I use many mediums such as: Oil Paint, Charcoal, and Digital Art. My digital artwork always has at least 450 dpi. Each art piece (excluding stationery) will be individually packaged in a sleeve with a cardboard backing to help prevent bending. Stationery will be individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve with a white envelope decorated with flowers. All pieces will have a branding sticker on the front.
