About Les Bobines de Lili

It was in 2018 that the story began, with a friend we attended a conference in La Rochelle by Jérémie PICHON (Dad of the Zero Waste Family). It was at that moment that I really became aware of the fragility of our planet and realized that with simple little gestures you could change a lot of things. That's when my transition to zero waste begins and as change never happens alone, I tell myself that it's a good time to learn the basics of sewing and that it will surely help me in my transition! So I signed up for sewing courses and it was a revelation! I used this passion to create reusable accessories (flat charlottes, washable cottons, vegetable nets, bulk bag, baguette bag,...) and I reused different textiles to give them a second life by creating different accessories (bags, aprons, decoration...) It was in 2020, after spending more than 14 years in the IT development, that my passion has become my professional activity. This great change brought me a lot, it allowed me to meet many people, to share and exchange with other equally passionate people. Today, in an eco-responsible spirit, I work mainly with fabrics that I find or various gifts. My goal is to be able, at my level, to “sow” small seeds so that our consumption is more responsible and good for our planet.Read their story
