LA LUNE, means ‘The Moon’ in French, and is a collection of wearable treasures, inspired by the hidden forces of the moon, power of the sky, and our positive connection to the natural world. LA LUNE was born from a passion for jewelry making, a love of design, and clear focus on creating less waste in the world while dreaming up thoughtful gifts for loved ones. Each piece is handcrafted using vintage diamond beads, recycled materials and exclusively using dead-stock natural stones & upcycled components. No two designs are identical. LA LUNE’s jewelry collection is sustainable, in that it is manufactured in the USA from recycled materials, dead-stock components and vintage beads. Intrinsically each piece does not create additional waste, nor does it have a negative environmental impact. In tandem, these designs become limited edition, unique & one-of-a-kind. The packaging used is bio-degradable and made from recycled materials. We love the Earth! Upcycling is the Re-Use of discarded objects or materials in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original. Upcycling is the act of taking something no longer in use and giving it a second life and new function. In doing so, the finished product often becomes more practical, valuable and beautiful than what it previously was. We rescue deadstock components before they are thrown away and upcycle them into beautiful pieces of jewelry! Read their story
