About Drumming Beetle

I’m Rebecca. Sewist, maker, mother, loud laugher, fabric sculptor, and illustrator. I attended school to become a Secondary Art educator but I found my calling in sewing. I started Drumming Beetle in 2010. I designed and patterned fabric fruits and veggies for play kitchens. For many years, I dedicated my time to creating 100's of custom fabric tea sets. Each one unique!! In my tea set journey, I wanted my art to be on sets and I learned about textile printing. AND oh boy!! Did my world open to all the possibilities?!? Since 2014, I have designed and printed my own art and turned them into plushies and throw pillows.Read their story
