Our story began in the Spring of 1988 in the magnificent city of San Francisco, where Gary Khangura decided to advance his Art-at-Heart creative talent to the world of fashion, creating women's soft-dressing collections. KHANGURA launched two labels: Moray - a vibrant collection in soft and supple fabrics and Pebble Rayon - an exquisite crinkled woven collection. KHANGURA collections' originality, style, comfort, functionality brought immediate success! Soon the company opened its wholesale corporate showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York. KHANGURA Reversible Jackets - made from fine European chenilles in lavish and vibrant patterns are for sure a treasure to cherish! Over the years, our collections were sold in mail-order catalogs viz: Coldwater Creek, LifeStyle by Nordstrom, Casual Living, Draper’s & Damon’s, Magellan’s, Gump’s, and many more, and in departments stores such as Nordstrom, Dillard's, as well as thousands of High-End Boutiques and Chain Stores in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Three decades later, we still do what we love – creating Artsy, Edgy, Classy, Comfy, Unique Women's Clothing Collections that are Ageless + Fun + Timeless! KHANGURA, and Artimino by Khangura – both brands are manufactured at our State-of-the-Art facility in Los Angeles.
