About Lil Wildflower Bows

Giving is planting a seed… Hey friend, so excited you decided to stop by today! I’m Erin, the bow maker behind Lil Wildflower Bows. I’m a former preschool teacher turned stay at home mom to twin girls, and I am totally obsessed with iced coffee and crafting. I spent 6 years working to have a child. After an early loss, the challenges of multiple fertility treatments, and a stressful pregnancy we welcomed our twin daughters (through IVF) on November 5, 2017. Born at 31 weeks gestation, they spent 6 weeks in the NICU. I am so grateful to write that they are now happy, and healthy 3 year olds. The combination of the mental and physical stressors, along with the fluctuation of hormones manifested itself in pretty severe PPD. I was fortunate, as I have faced mental health issues in the past, and have a strong support system in my family. I knew when I had reached the point where I needed to ask for help. I was able to find an excellent mental health professional who prescribed a specific treatment plan and helped me feel better. Not all women are so fortunate. In the hopes of making even a small contribution to help other women facing maternal mental health issues too, my plan is to donate 5% from each sale to Postpartum Support International.Read their story
