My life as a winemaker began in 1980. Son of a farmer, I was born from the land. Since my tender childhood, the land and nature were my daily life. Endowed with a rich earth fiber, the vine and the wine are became my passion. I have done only a few studies; it is the field, the practice, that taught me everything. You have it understood, I am an autodidact; I dare to admit that my first language is Béarnais. Doing it gives you knowledge, but you also have to make it known. I planted the vine over the years. I highlighted the potential of our grape varieties. I act with my own sensitivity, my memory, my imagination; with the questioning and with the quest of best. My slogan of the moment: Imagination is stronger than knowledge. My fascination: It is to make the vine speak through this clay soil, to magnify the aromas that are on the skin of the grape. At each time, other aromas, make wines of Aesthetic and Pleasure. The vine is pampered like a garden. The hand of man is omnipresent and it regulates the smallest details. Petit Manseng is our great grape variety, it is a liana with small clusters under the leaves with openwork grains. Thick film is a great virtue.
