The SPOT ON Pickleball Paddle Cover and Training Device was invented by Professional Speaker Dave Davlin. Dave is a former basketball entertainer (a/k/a Dave “Travelin” Davlin) and in 1990, set the Guinness World Record for spinning 12 basketballs on his body at the same time. He toured the United States and other parts of the world for over 25 years bringing smiles to faces with his unique basketball show, “BOUNCE”. Dave was a competitive golfer before becoming infected with the “pickleball bug”, thus causing golf to take a back seat. Wanting to increase his ability to hit the “sweet spot” of the paddle on a more consistent basis, he began working on a paddle cover which would isolate the “sweet spot” and could be used for training and warm-up purposes. In the process, Dave discovered not only an increase in the precision of his shots, but also an increase in the speed of his hands. Recognizing the positive impact this paddle cover had on his game, Dave decided to perfect his unique product and the SPOT ON Pickleball Paddle Cover and Training Device was born.
