About Cayligraphy

Caylie Mindling is an illustrator and lettering artist based in Kentucky. She works under the punny moniker Cayligraphy -- a combination of her given name and her chosen craft. Every Cayligraphy piece begins as a hand lettered or sketched illustration. She is deeply inspired by the forms found in nature, beautiful and messy human relationships, and wanting there to be more dad jokes in the world. Caylie's art is fused into the lives of those who bring it home; she loves that the work she creates gets to be used, seen, and appreciated every day, whether that’s as a sticker on a water bottle taken on hikes or as a print that makes a dwelling a home. When choosing what to turn her art into, Caylie's goal is for it to be enjoyed and for it to be useful. Those initial scribblings become stickers, cards, prints, tote bags, notebooks, upcycled tshirts, and ball caps. She believes that what we make matters, and how we make matters just as much, so she continues to plant trees for every two stickers sold, prioritizes repurposing, and chooses with careful consideration with whom she partners.Read their story
