Two Leaves and a Bud is an independent tea company founded in 2004 in the mountains of Colorado. Named for what gets plucked with every pinch of a tea plant – the top two leaves and one bud - we are notoriously picky about each aspect of the journey from leaf to cup. We are committed to fostering long-term relationships with our growers, partners, employees, customers, and nature. From sourcing the highest quality ingredients to using compostable packaging, we strive to act ethically, thoughtfully, and sustainably in everything we do. For over 20 years we’ve been a leader in whole leaf organic tea. We were one of the originators of the pyramid sachet and later pioneered 100% compostable packaging. Almost 10 years ago we evolved into offering small farm, craft matcha. Rooted in our expertise in tea and driven by a passion for flavor, we have expanded our matcha and tea latte ranges to meet and exceed market demand. Our latest addition is a range of powdered chai’s that are low in sugar, easy on the environment, and taste better than concentrate. Read their story
