About Gilded Fox Silk

Gilded Fox Silk began out of a salon dedicated to curly hair in Portland OR. Owner Andrea Neal-Thiesen has always loved old Hollywood vintage style and began the line by asking salon neighbor and designer Sarah Donofrio to sew small batch silk turbans for Gilded Fox clients to wear to keep their curls healthy and shiny at night. The line has exploded into a full line of Oeko-tex certified 22 momme mulberry silk pillowcases, scrunchies, bonnets, turbans, and scarves. Silk helps keep all hair types detangled, adds lustre, and actually helps to strengthen the keratin in each strand of hair through the silk amino acids. Other skin benefits of this luxurious silk include natural wrinkle prevention as well as being antimicrobial and antibacterial. Gilded Fox Silk comes in an array of solid colors as well as fun quirky prints designed by former Project Runway alum Sarah Donofrio.
