About David Ralph | Marco Image & Concept David Ralph is a Maryland-based fine art painter and founder of "marcoimage", an independent art studio offering bold, abstract digital and fine art prints. David’s passion for art began as a child sketching sports figures and wild animals, a love that grew alongside his interests in music, science, and design. Over the years — while raising a family and building a career in advertising and graphic arts — he kept developing his distinctive style, which he calls Geoformism: contemporary abstract art blending geometric abstraction and figurative realism. David gained hands-on retail experience through his own art booth at the College Park farmer’s market and at Taylor’s Collective in Ellicott City, where he sold original paintings, giclée prints, and art novelties — constantly refining his product line and connecting directly with buyers. Along the way, David sold an original sports painting for use on the set of the TV sitcom The Odd Couple, enlarged one of his musical pieces for a special exhibit at a Chicago children's museum, lent one of his painting images to a jazz pianist from Spain as a CD cover, and has been a member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, Laurel Art Guild, and the Hyattsville Community Art Alliance, Today, through "marcoimage", David shares his colorful, geometric works with collectors and retailers who want fresh, distinctive art inspired by the energy of nature, people, music, and sport.Read their story
