Hi! I'm Leah, the designer and founder of Plante. After working in fashion and seeing the vast amount of waste and excess that goes into clothing production, I created Plante as a fun side hustle and creative outlet- aiming to solve some of the issues I witnessed in an artful, fun, and unique way. I am a true clothes lover and aim to make pieces that are wearable, fun, whimsical, ethical, and special- favorite pieces to be worn for many seasons. All pieces are produced in New York’s garment district, using natural, organic, or dead stock fabric. I am a big believer in preserving the talent and craft of New York and a huge supporter of the garment district. Long live the schlep!
