Sheila Patel founded The LIFE Bags Company in 2016 with the simple idea of providing a product that would be useful in everyday life, so we could be reminded that each and every one of us can make a change. It does not take one, but all of us. Together we can make a real impact. This community ties us all together: the connection of you, the connection of me, the connection of a child in need. Join Sheila in making LIFE good. Sheila is based in Chicago but her parents were raised in Falu, India. She went back every year she realized children in her town of Falu,India were carrying either plastic bags or no bags at all, to school. She realized that she could marry her expertise in business with her passion for giving, and launched a new business in 2018. to help these children. Her "why" is to give back by focusing on backpacks in order to give children the tools they needed for school. Sheila goes back to India every year, and finds new and innovative ways to give back to her community and engage with the people we impact.Read their story
