About Alison E. Kurek

I'm Alison - the owner, artist and contact person for Alison E. Kurek designs. I've created fun, upbeat art work featuring anthropomorphic animals for more years than I can count. Previously focusing only on one-of-a-kind-artworks, I purchased my first archival ink printer in 2011 and my line of art prints and cards was born. My inspiration comes from everyday life. My furry animals, yoga classes, years of mixing cocktails at side job bartending gigs, and the ever present form of the Buffalo/Bison that is tattooed on every native Buffalonian's brain. I believe my work has a purpose and I take it seriously! We NEED to laugh! Overall life is challenging and getting more so everyday! We're stressed out and need to look at the lighter side of things. My work is designed to make you smile. If it causes spontaneous fits of laughter I've done my job! My animal images and such are created and illustrated by me in my studio in Buffalo, New York.
