About Bastian KNTWR L.L.C.

Bastian KNTWR is dedicated to the love and process of fabricating handcrafted pieces. Focusing on both knitwear and jewelry, each piece is designed and handmade by Elizabeth Bastian in our Bushwick studio. With experience as a knitwear designer at both Coach and Marc Jacobs, Elizabeth launched Bastian KNTWR in 2019 as a response to a growing dissatisfaction with the industry’s status quo and oftentimes destructive and archaic operations. Bastian KNTWR is also seen as a balm to the turbulent times we find ourselves in – an opportunity to take back the methods of both design and fabrication. Bastian KNTWR focuses on handcrafted pieces launched in small quantities using the finest materials. Intricate designs are executed in whimsical patterns imbued with a deep love of graphic intarsias, textures, and pieces framed in bold colors. Bastian KNTWR is built on the joy of the handmade and the transformational effect for the owner that a one-of-a-kind garment or piece of jewelry bestows.Read their story
