About Appeloogje

Hi my name is Marjolein Heij and the second person Apple Eye. The name Apple Eye came about because my father used to call me the apple of the eye (and still actually). Now that I can have 2 daughters of my own, they are also my absolute eyeballs and I often create products with their imagination in mind. The name eyeapple (tje) already appears as a company name so hence it reversed, just a little bit different ;-) During my maternity leave from both daughters, I got watercolor and I actually wanted to do more with this. At the end of 2018, I knew for sure and then there was Apple Eye next to my photography company on 1 January 2019. Since 2022, my focus has been on Apple Eye and I quit my photography business to focus more on Apple Eye. Read their story
