Since 2017, artist Jodi Acevedo has created her colorful, whimsical designs as a full-time freelance illustrator and graphic designer under the name WATERCOLOR WHIMSY. In 2018, her artwork gained attention throughout Central Florida after an exclusive showcase at the Orlando area Doyen Gallery. Jodi's colorful selection of watercolors received more attention, comments, and purchases than any prior artist. The paintings simply sparked joy in all who saw them. Today, she specializes in creating artwork for merchandise and apparel (such as T-shirts, thermoses, stickers, greeting cards, coasters, etc.), custom alphabet illustrations for children and teaching community workshops. Her clients have ranged from large gift shops to local galleries, families and farmers markets. Jodi's message to her customers has been clear from the start: "No matter who I work with, the goal is always to help my clients bring joy to their customers in a simple, yet meaningful way."
