About Ironweed Arts

Printmaking and poetry for folks who dream in ecosystems. Ironweed Arts is the practice of Emily Stoddard, a writer and artist in northern Michigan. With linocut prints that are carved and printed by hand, greeting cards that combine linocut reproductions with poetry, stickers, zines, and more. I aim for my art to be ready for your shop, with: Thoughtful design, such as labeling to share the origins and/or materials of the art (e.g., including the names of the native plants on the greeting cards). Lovely-to-hold, earth-friendly materials, such as handmade paper for art prints (from Sustainable Paper+Craft in Kansas City) and 100% repurposed cotton greeting cards in a thick, archival stock with a soft texture. Eco-conscious packaging, including recycled cardboard backings and compostable, eco-clear protective sleeves for greeting cards and linocut prints. I’m grateful for the chance to be invited into your space—if your shop happens to be in northwest Michigan and you’d like an in-person hello or delivery, I’d love to stop by!
