He was later joined by his wife, Nicoletta Corsiglia, and her nephew, André Corsiglia. After training under his uncle for several years, André settled in Marseille in 1896. There, he introduced the production of these glazed candied chesnuts in France. Since then, Corsiglia has been run by six generations of family members who continue to maintain the artisanal process of making premium fruit products.
