About Buddy Rest

The BuddyRest story started years ago, with my dog Buddy. You see, one day at a routine visit to the vet, they warned me that Buddy was going to suffer from stiff, painful joints and live a shorter life than other dogs. I was told that big dogs like Buddy live on average 4 years less than smaller dogs - frequently due to conditions such as arthritis and joint problems. The vet told me he often saw dogs of all ages with these problems - painful swollen joints, arthritis, lameness, and general loss of mobility. Veterinarians have all types of treatments from pain medication to laser treatments and even stem cell therapy. However, the ironic thing is often times, after all that treatment, those same dogs go home and end up sleeping on the tile floor. As chance would have it, I was working in the mattress industry at the time and I knew how important support was to the body. I had seen it first hand how pressure-free support had changed the lives of numerous people.Read their story
