I think jewelry is unique because it offers a thread of connection between maker and wearer, a way to recognize kindred spirits through our shared aesthetics. My work is light and airy, with sparkling, colorful stones and minimalist designs. Soasa jewelry is the product of reduction and restraint as I seek to emphasize the simple beauty in natural materials, colors and basic forms. Gemstones, pearls, brass, sterling silver and 14k gold-fill are at the heart of my collection, and I use simple wire wrapping techniques to create each piece.
