About The Bayou Fairies Series

The Bayou Fairies Series was inspired by the author's fairy loving grandmother. Ruth read books about flower fairies to her grandchildren. This ritual created cherished childhood memories and a bond that would lead to a life-long love of all things fairy. Author, Cher Levis, grew up on the bayou in Louisiana. She melded these two highlights and loves of her childhood to create the idea for this children's book series.
