This Is Ben’s Garden Ben’s Garden began in 1992 not as a business plan, but as an instinct — a desire to gather images, words, and materials that already carried a life of their own and give them new voice. Antique books, handwritten letters, botanical studies, timeworn maps — fragments of history reassembled into objects that feel personal, intentional, and quietly expressive. For more than three decades, every piece has been designed by founder Ben Busko and handcrafted in our New York City studio using traditional techniques like French découpage. Each image is layered beneath glass, fired into permanence, and finished by skilled artisans who understand that beauty lives in restraint and detail. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is incidental. The result is a collection of decoupage glass trays, paperweights, coasters, and stationery that blend heritage craftsmanship with a distinctly modern point of view.
