About Ni Armor's Sweet BBQ Marinade & Dipping Sauce

Kaylene Fareti Lauano is a BBQ and cooking enthusiast based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Born and raised in a tiny island in the South Pacific called American Samoa. Her mother was a cooking instructor in high school. Following her mother's foot steps, she perfected her mother's delicious gourmet sauces and recipes. Her husband and her loved to grill and BBQ for family and friends. The good compliments they always get from them made them open up a BBQ food trailer business in ANC, AK in 2016. Out of fear that the winters in Alaska will hurt their new food truck business, Kaylene told her husband that she had a good idea to save their business. "I'll never forget the moment when I told my husband not to fret and that everything will be alright," I'm so grateful that God gave me the courage to endure at such a scary time of our lives especially the fear of losing our business because of the cold weather in Alaska. Thank God my husband supported my vision to produce our sauce and sell it in the grocery stores." The first production was in 2017. Ni Armor's BBQ sauce enters their first food product competition and won the 2019 Editor's Pick Award for the "BEST NEW PRODUCT" and was featured in the Progressive Grocer's(the number 1 media brand magazine) 2019 Sept issue. Today Ni Armor's BBQ all-purpose sauce are on the shelves of popular grocery chains in North Carolina such as Harris Teeter(parent company is Kroger), Lowes Foods, Carlie C's IGA and meat stores around Raleigh.
