Camilla Øhrlings heritage on her fathers side belongs to Swedish nobility, Eding nmb 1257. The family was based in the lush countryside at the western coast of Bohuslän in Sweden. Her ancestors, who served the Swedish castle, had great emphasis on the arts and aesthetics in their way of life and work. Her forefather, Henrik Larsson Eding, brought home "golden apples" from America, as a gift to king Carl XI. Therefore their nobility weapon shows two arms holding a golden apple, which manifests this deed of beauty. Her family traditions are kept alive through her beautiful jewelry and the Hummingbird logo is a symbolic pollinator of the golden apples. Camilla Øhrling business purpose is to help people look their best and to outline their unique personal identity. Our brand has for many years established long lasting business relationships with numerous retailers around Norway, as well as a few in Sweden and Finland. We are part of a manufacturing community of handcraft professionals, sharing our values of high quality products and sustainable production. The jewelry is produced in 18 Carat gold plated surgical steel. The materials are allergy friendly, durable and the gold plating will stay pretty on the metal for years. Our clothing production is "zero waste" as all scrap fabrics are donated to small businesses and used for hand quilting. The packaging is plant based and will use only 6 months to dissolve in nature.
