About Naviatis

Naviatis was born at the junction of the elegance and durability of the aviation and nautical industries. Our story begins some decades ago, when my grandfather was recruited by the army in the leather goods production division. He continued practicing this craft his whole life. I remember with nostalgia the sounds, tools and the smell from his workshop. I was still quite young when he passed away, but our time spent together was enough for him to instil me his passion for creating products that last a lifetime. Me and my girlfriend are university students and last year we decided to start this journey of building a future to be proud of, as well as applying the notions we learn in school. Working in a team, we want to keep the working techniques that were proven effective some time ago and combine them with modern, innovative designs, continuing the family tradition. We started with some tools from my grandfather’s old workshop, experiencing different techniques in our small apartment. Now that we are moved in our own, tiny workshop, we are able to put our creativity into practice and to present to you the first Naviatis products.
