Changing the world one conversation at a time. At The Skin Deep, we create the space for people to experience deeper connection with the most important people in their lives. In 2014, we set out to explore that question by filming raw, honest, and intimate conversations between two people — inviting the world to witness authentic human connection unfold. What started as a bold experiment became our first project, {THE AND}, which quickly became a global phenomenon, reaching over 55 million views and earning an Emmy Award. Since then, we’ve produced more than 1,200 authentic conversations across the globe, capturing the beauty and vulnerability of what it means to be human. Over time, {THE AND} has grown far beyond video — expanding into live experiences, a podcast, and a family of card games in multiple editions and languages, now loved by millions of people around the world. Through every format, our mission has remained the same: To create experiences that invite people to slow down, open up, and connect more deeply. We believe that asking the right questions — and truly listening to one another — has the power to transform our relationships, our lives, and ultimately, our society.
