Happy Yellow Dress is a line of women's clothing, inspired by classic vintage styles worn by the Grace Kellys, and the Audrey Hepburns of the past, but updated for the more modern Meghan Markle and Princess Kate types of today’s world. Our collection includes flowery dresses, flowy tops, high waisted short shorts, summer shirt dresses, beautiful matched sets, retro style crop tops and more! Based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest city of Vancouver, Happy Yellow Dress was born out of a desire to free women of the dreaded athleisure scourge, but we never sacrifice comfort nor convenience in our designs. Our HYD label dresses are all equipped with top secret hidden side seam utilitarian pockets. Deep enough to safely stash your phone, keys, and any other number of necessary accoutrements! All of our designs are named after great songs from the 50's and 60's! Be sure to look them up and see what inspires us, while you wear our designs! At Happy Yellow Dress, we’ve chosen to steer clear from the more costumey vintage and pinup reproduction styles, but instead select the best design elements from bygone eras, and mesh them seamlessly with the modern, for a perfectly wearable, functional, stylish outfit. Rather than selecting pre existing fabrics handprinted from an outside supplier as many independent designers do, our major prints are designed in house, so when you shop Happy Yellow Dress, you’re always guaranteed to own a very unique item.
