Author's Vodkas Back to the roots of vodka Inspired by Russian recipes from the 18th century, Pierre Solignac revives the golden age of vodka through three references with original flavors. Produced in France near Cognac, Solignac vodkas are crafted with artisanal expertise that gives them character and great authenticity, thus restoring their former glory. Having lived in Russia for nearly ten years for a French spirits group, Pierre Solignac developed a taste for vodka and became a true enthusiast. Originating from Eastern Europe, this spirit has its roots between Russia and Poland and is traditionally made from grains (rye, wheat) and/or potatoes. Upon discovering very old Russian recipes from the 18th century, Pierre Solignac became interested in the taste of vodkas from that era, considered the golden age of this spirit in Russia. This "gastronomic" aspect of vodka, contrary to what was available on the market at the end of the 20th century, inspired Pierre Solignac and made him want to recreate flavorful vodkas to rediscover them. Indeed, through his creations, he aims to bring back taste to vodka, too often considered a neutral alcohol, and thus rekindle the interest in vodka among spirit enthusiasts.Read their story
