Two good friends with entrepreneurial spirits launched Credo Designs in 1992, hoping to shine their light to uplift others in their little corner of the world. Surprisingly, since then Credo has shipped creations throughout the USA, Canada and the UK. Credo’s artist and owner, Marva Sheriff, resides in the Minneapolis area, but often escapes to a log cabin in northern Minnesota or to the shores of Lake Superior to soak in the beauty of God’s creation. She believes that in this fast-paced world her primary job as an artist is to take time to slow down and listen. Life’s ups & downs, joys & sorrows and unexpected surprises are common to all. In responding creatively to her own life experiences with family and friends, Marva strives to create expressions of the heart through simple images and verses that will be authentic and relative to everyday life. Credo’s mission has remained the same for over 30 years … to celebrate life and uplift and encourage others.
