The art form, known as quilling, centers around the creation of many small coils made by rolling a thin strip of paper around a slotted tool or a needle tool. Once the coils are made the variations are endless. By simply pinching a coil can turn into the petals of a flower, spikes on a cactus, or an abstract design.
