Our Story Founded in 2012, Nepali Tea Traders is the first U.S.-based company to offer premium, single-origin teas from Nepal’s Ilam region. As a woman-owned business, we partner directly with small-scale farmers growing tea at 4,000 to 8,000 feet—where Himalayan soil and climate create bold, complex flavors. Our award-winning teas, including the globally recognized Himalayan Golden Black Tea, have received top honors at the Global Tea Championship and the Leafies.
