Being born and raised in a kids clothing store started by my Mother and my Aunt in 1955, (before I was born), shaped my love of design and apparel. They also taught me what it is to be a strong, hard-working woman and yet have a heart and be kind to everyone. After purchasing a production facility, Ripped Rags was born. We do things differently--we slash the backs of perfectly good t-shirts and sew eye-popping artwork underneath to show thru like window blinds. All of our designs and embellishments are custom produced and finished in our American factory, so we take a bit of time to name drop them and manufacture them specifically for your store. And they’re ripped right here in good ole Downers Grove, Illinois, U.S.A.
