Rope and Leather is a modern bohemian jewelry brand for salt of the earth women. All pieces are handcrafted by myself, Aaryka Clause. You experience so many heartfelt things in life and jewelry is something that helps you remember your journey. Its amazing how looking at a specific piece connects you right back to that moment or chapter in your life when you wore it. I love designing jewelry for your journey. I believe it should connect to & enhance your very being and be memorable - just like you! I grew up in New Mexico surrounded by turquoise, silver and painted desert skies-so much inspiration! My love of creating jewelry started as a kid when I'd tie yarn around sparkly rocks collected from xeriscaped yards. I formally started developing my craft in high school when I took my first silversmithing class. The opposite balance of materials I loved in my youth has stood with me in my design aesthetic. I believe this beautiful duality exists in everything and everyone. Hard and soft. Minimal and bold. Modern and timeless. Thanks for checking out a bit of my journey.
