Katiebird Prints is the creative outlet of Katie Smith, a New York-based architect and illustrator. Inspired by pop culture, dry humor, and a sense of nostalgia, each piece aims to be smile-inducing and to bring a little joy to the everyday. Bold colors and clean compositions define her unique collection of prints, greeting cards, stickers, and more — offering playful and inclusive designs that add personality and fun to any space. With over 5,000 direct-to-consumer sales, primarily on Etsy, Katiebird Prints launched wholesale in 2025 to bring witty, playful products to an even wider audience. While architecture remains a passion, illustration and graphic design provide a different kind of creative outlet. After all, no one really wants a funny building, but most people do appreciate a humorous card, a quirky sticker, or a happy tote. The scope and scale may differ between architecture and illustration, but the thoughtful design process remains the same.
