The journey to Jane Apothecary actually began when she was a teenager. I loved watching my mother and older sisters take care of their skin and devour the beauty section of the magazines that fell into my hands. I was fascinated to see those wonderful little boats and to know what they were wearing and how they smelled. I studied biology and specialized in dermocosmetics to deepen what had always been my hobby. My interest in natural cosmetics came a little later when I went through a time of stress that greatly affected my skin, and which turns out to be an outbreak of rosacea. A few months later, on a trip I discovered the benefits of vegetable oils and botanical extracts. I returned home with a locally made serum based on apricot oil, lavender, and chamomile, it smelled wonderfully good and the redness and imperfections it had faded. Via the little bottle in the drawer and the idea of creating my own soothing ointment began to take up more and more space in my head, so I decided to dedicate myself fully to natural cosmetics. In 2015, after being a mother, I decided that it was time and started developing my project. In 2017, Jane Apothecary was born. Read their story
