At a very early age, Karen was involved in sports including gymnastics, soccer, and dance. Later, she competed in triathlons, running, and open water swimming competitions. Her current activities include boxing, rowing, running, weight lifting, and yoga. She suffered a debilitating knee injury from a ski accident in the 90’s which started her journey to learn about how important recovery is to maintain a healthy body. Karen's work history includes packaging design and manufacturing for national brands, graphic design, and many years working at an advertising agency.
