Every generation has that story—the one that transported us to faraway lands and taught us about courage, love, and finding our way home. For today's children, that story is Amara's. I'm Mila, born and raised in Kenya, now based in the USA. Growing up surrounded by Africa's majestic elephants, I fell in love with their intelligence, family devotion, and quiet strength. As an engineer, I thought I'd left those childhood wonders behind—but the pull of home and the elephants I admired never left me. I created Mila Inspired® to give children everywhere—especially those who rarely see themselves in storybooks—heroes who look like them and stories set in the landscapes I know and love. If we teach young ones to care about our planet's magnificent creatures now, they'll become the protectors our world needs tomorrow. The Little Elephant's Big Adventure begins Amara's series: a baby elephant separated from her herd who discovers her courage on the journey home. Book by book, she'll grow into the elephant queen she was meant to be—empowering young girls to see themselves as brave, capable, and destined for greatness.
